Ask Alex: Being one with God?

Two Questions /
comments
1) I believe I have the
tools but I am overwhelmed at times with confusion, guilt etc.
In a nutshell I want a push or advice on where to go, be it
financially, career or whatever and to end my doubt of being
truly one with god if that makes sense.
2) I just read your story on
Christmas. I enjoyed it. I have heard so many stories about
Jesus. One that got my attention the most was that he died
because he denied his brother. The devil “get thee Satan behind
my back” What do you think of this?
Dear Kent,
Taking your first question, you say that wish to be one
with god, but there is no god Kent. If you take all the sacred
essence of everything that lives in the whole Universe and put
it together, then I suppose one could call that ‘god’, but
there is no separate all-powerful entity overseeing us all, any
more than there is a devil trying to corrupt us. You are a
little bit of god, so am I, we are all one. It is just that
some people, through choosing wickedness over goodness,
eventually drop out of the game of life.
I love simplicity and clarity; therefore, it would help
me answer your question if you told me why you are feeling
guilt, and why you are confused. I don’t sense that you have
anything to feel guilty about, but if you are experiencing that
emotion, then we need to talk about it.
Regarding your second question, I am so pleased that you
enjoyed the Christmas article. The ‘devil’ which Jesus refers
to whilst being tempted in the wilderness is simply a reference
to that part of himself which feared his future, the part which
didn’t want to be nailed up onto a piece of wood. He was human,
just like you and I, but more perceptive and therefore more
evolved, but he still had all the human feelings, which we
have.
He does not have a brother in the sense which we
understand the word.
He died in order to pay his karma. That is obviously a
very deep statement and I will need to elaborate further to you
in the future, but since he was so powerful, he decided what
his karma was, and no one could argue his decision. The
question of what he felt he had to pay for, I will tell you,
but later. We are in the area of sacred truths and someone as
powerful and evolved as Christ has to be respected in every
way, obviously.
You see Kent, Christ did not, and does not, wish you to
worship him. He wants you to be happy and free and immortal. He
requires respect, but then, all good people expect that for
themselves, and you may ask, how do I know these things, well,
all Universal truths are like the air which we breathe, they
are always true, always there, waiting for us to access them,
and in my case, Lilith helped me to access just enough to
enable me to be a useful person, but I am not superior to you
in any way.
With very best wishes
